Sanson Sinks Atlanta With Brace
Atlanta's stellar attack looked potent early in the match, and the MLS club capped off the first half with a Josef Martinez goal in the 41st minute. But in the second half, Marseille mounted their comeback. Sanson hit in a pair of headers past Brad Guzan, and the French club had taken the lead by the 57th minute. Atlanta couldn't find an equalizer, and ultimately the game was put out of reach for good when Clinton Njie hit a pretty chip to give Marseille their third goal. "Atlanta gets a lot of credit for their attacking group of players, but I think we showed tonight just how dangerous we can be when our attackers are all clicking together," said Coach Bronc post-game. The stats backed the manager's claim, as 5 different attacking players scored or assisted on one of Marseille's goals.

Goalkeeping Optional In 3-2 Marseille Win
Minutes into the match today, Marseille's Morgan Sanson scored from a near-post cross to give the home side a 1-0 lead. That lead stood for the remainder of the half, but Basaksehir's Arda Turan leveled the match in the 57th minute. That goal seemed to ignite a spark from the home side, as Marseille then went on to score a pair of goals to make it 3-1. Dimitri Payet's goal was perhaps the most impressive, as the Frenchman hit a perfectly placed curler from outside the box to seal the match. Adebayor headed in a goal to cut the lead to 3-2, but there simply was not enough time for Basaksehir to mount a serious comeback. "This team is built to finish matches, and we saw that today," said Coach Bronc of his club. The win gives Marseille 6 points following their first 4 matches, and their true test will likely come against fellow French club Nice within the coming days.

I believe it shouldn't be counted and a draw is a fair result.
Sirigu the star of the match and chances for both teams but goals were hard to come by.

Nil-Nil Result From Lackluster Match
Both Marseille and Leipzig will walk away from this one with a point, as neither side was able to find the back of the net after 90 minutes. Marseille controlled the game with the lead in possession, but Leipzig saw many more chances on net. "We were hoping for a better result, but you can't take points for granted in this league either," said Coach Bronc. "Our defense was strong in earning the clean sheet and our opponents simply shut down our attack. We got a point, now we'll look to build on that."
